About Matthew Donnelly

Matthew F. Donnelly, PA-C, has been a practicing Certified Physician Assistant since 2007, with experience across emergency medicine, trauma, urgent care, and behavioral health.

Background & education

Matthew attained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1994 from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. After his degree, he worked in emergency medical services and firefighting, eventually serving as Director of Operations of an ambulance service in the Rocky Mountains.

He later returned to academia, earning a Master of Medical Science from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. He began his career as a Physician Assistant in trauma surgery and continued working in emergency services and urgent care settings.

Focus on psychiatry

Matthew began pursuing psychiatry and behavioral health in 2014. His work has also included addiction medicine at a local treatment center. He approaches treatment with an interest in both traditional medical care and holistic therapies.

His stated goal is to enhance his patients’ well-being through an individualized approach to care.
